In a relationship it is difficult to identify if you are with someone who is a Narcissist. However, the example of a narcissist in a relationship can be identified in case you pay attention to certain aspects.

1. Little Concerns for Your Feelings

One of the example of a narcissist behaviour in a relationship is that such people will show little concern for your feelings. While they would be greatly concerned for their happiness or sadness, when it comes to you, they would show little concern for any similar feelings that you display or show.

2. Focus on Superficial Matters

Another example of a narcissist in  a relationship is that they would share superficial things or matters with you and when it comes to deeper things like future of the relationship, such people lack clarity or even if they have some, they would rarely display it. They are more concerned only about little things that rarely matter in any relation.

3. Charming only when it suits them

One of the example of a narcissist behaviour is that they would be happy, show caring attitude or remain charming to you only when it suits them. Their happiness is short lived and such people rarely care when you wish to share your happiness or concerns with them.

4. Sensitive to Criticism

Another example of a narcissist behaviour is that such people are sensitive to criticism. They would never take criticism in good taste and rather would be annoyed in case you criticize them.

5. They often Manipulate

Manipulation is something in which such people excel. They know to use any situation to their advantage in such cases. They can convince you to help them in any situation even if they are wrong. Their calculative power is so strong that they would rather use you to their advantage and dump you off when their objective is achieved.

6. Show their Importance Often

You will find that such people will show their importance more often. In a relationship, both the partners are equal, however a telling example of a narcissist behaviour here would be that they would show their importance more often even at the risk of spoiling the relationship.

7. More Interested in Self

Such people are interested in self only and would rather want every effort to be focussed on them only. Your happiness, fear or concern would be of little importance to them and they would be busy and concerned with their lives only.

8. Feed on Compliments

Most of the time they feed on compliments only and they would be annoyed if you criticize them or say anything bad about them. They want everyone to praise them and talk positive about them all the time.

These are some of the example of a narcissist and in case you have any such person in your life it is better that you take remedial steps to change them so that life becomes eventually better for both of you.
